Job summary

Virtusa in Dubai is seeking a Data Architect to design and implement scalable database solutions that store, retrieve and manage organizational data, while maintaining existing systems for high performance and reliability.

You will lead data modeling, ETL, and cloud-based platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), enforce data architecture standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable database architectures and data warehouses.
• Proficient in cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong SQL and data governance knowledge (GDPR, HIPAA).

Skills:

• Expertise in database management systems (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle) and cloud in data modeling schema design and ETL with big data tools like Hadoop Spark or programming skills in languages such as Python Java or of data governance security and compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR HIPAA).
• Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
