We are hiring: Data Analyst (Operations) – Free Zone (Sharjah, UAE)

On behalf of our client, a leading Free Zone in Sharjah, we are seeking an Data Analyst (Operations) to join their team.

This role combines immigration/licensing operations with advanced Excel and data analysis skills, offering the chance to contribute to process excellence and digital transformation.

Role Overview:

The Data Analyst (Operations) will verify client-submitted data, process immigration and licensing applications, and generate accurate reports. You will also build dashboards, optimize processes, and ensure smooth operational support across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process approvals for business setup, license amendments, visas, and immigration cards.
  • Handle residence visa issuance, renewal, cancellation, and immigration reporting.
  • Maintain ERP and Free Zone databases with accurate information.
  • Create dashboards and reports using advanced Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA).
  • Conduct data analysis to improve processes and support SLA achievement.
  • Assist with SOP creation, reporting, and training junior staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Free Zone or business setup operations.
  • Advanced Excel expertise (IF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX+MATCH, dynamic arrays, PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven.
