As a Data Analyst - Intern, you will be in a central position, evangelising data and our methodologies to other functional analysts and stakeholders in the company.

You will have close interaction with teams in marketing, sales, finance, and product. You will work in a fast-paced, professional, international, and entrepreneurial environment.

In this role, you will :

1. Access data, construct and manipulate large datasets to support analyses using SQL, Python, and similar tools.
2. Design and develop BI dashboards using Sisense or similar tools (Tableau, PowerBI, DataStudio) for various organizational metrics and indicators, applying industry best practices in finance, sales, inventory, and other areas.
3. Help define KPIs and drive data governance through standardization and effective communication.
4. Develop analysis and reporting capabilities; monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
5. Adept at query writing, report creation, and presenting findings.
6. Research and validate entity data using internal and external sources.
7. Liaise and analyze across projects within the Reference Data environment.
8. Analyze, specify, test, and implement interfaces, workflow solutions, and reference data solutions, such as regression testing systems ahead of upgrades.
9. Participate in designing, implementing, and interpreting experiments or trials for continuous strategy refinement.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
2. Proficient in SQL.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
4. Knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills.
