A leading company in Dubai is seeking a Data Analyst to generate business reports, manage data for forecasting, and support marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally, ensuring accurate data flow and insights for decision-making. Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of relevant experience and strong analytical skills.
Job Summary & Purpose:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating accurate business reports, managing data for forecasting, and providing analytical support across departments. They are expected to maintain and update dashboards, assist with budgeting, and collaborate with teams to streamline reporting processes. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally are essential for success in this role.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs) & Principal Accountabilities:
1 Business Reporting:
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key performance metrics (e.g., sales, website traffic, demand, and supply).
• Maintain and update reporting dashboards for ongoing projects and business initiatives.
• Prepare monthly review reports for business and marketing teams.
2 Data Management:
• Update and maintain data on internal platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Validate and compile data from multiple sources for reporting and analysis.
• Assist with data preparation for budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning.
3 Forecasting and Target Setting:
• Support target projections and forecasting at different levels (e.g., product, seller, and channel).
• Provide data-driven insights to assist in business planning and marketing strategy.
• Collaborate with teams to refine forecasting models and methodologies.
4 Transaction and billing support
• Validate sales transactions and ensure accurate billing data for internal and external stakeholders.
• Generate monthly sales data for billing and invoicing purposes.
5 Marketing Campaign Support:
• Manage and organize customer databases to support targeted marketing campaigns.
• Provide data for campaign performance analysis and optimization.
• Track key marketing metrics, such as campaign ROI, and report findings to the marketing team.
6 Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with central analytics and data teams to streamline reporting and automate processes.
• Liaise with different departments to ensure smooth data flow and communication.
• Assist with cross-functional projects that require data analysis and reporting.
7 Ad-hoc Reporting and Analysis:
• Provide ad-hoc reports and data analysis as needed by business teams.
• Respond to changing business needs by offering timely insights and solutions.
Requirements
Experience (Years & Field) 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, business reporting, or a related role.
Proven experience working with reporting tools, dashboards, and data visualization software.
Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and supporting cross-functional teams with data insights.
Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
Professional Certifications Certification in data analysis or business intelligence tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Any relevant certification in data management or analytics (e.g., Microsoft Excel Expert,).
