Salary: 11,000–17,000 AED/month (market estimated)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Dance lessons from KS1 onwards using engaging and research‑informed teaching methods.
- Develop students’ technical proficiency, choreography skills, and performance confidence.
- Create inclusive learning experiences that encourage creativity, artistic expression, and physical development.
- Use specialist facilities and resources to enhance practical learning and performance outcomes.
- Introduce students to diverse dance forms and support appreciation of performing arts disciplines.
- Integrate inquiry‑based learning and interdisciplinary collaboration into classroom delivery.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide clear developmental feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum delivery and performing arts programmes.
- Participate actively in school performances, extracurricular activities, and community events.
- Build strong communication with parents regarding student progress and artistic development.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor of Education or Bachelor's degree with PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Master’s degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Proven experience teaching Dance from KS1 and above.
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.
- Creative and enthusiastic teaching style with passion for performing arts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
