A specialized childcare service is seeking an experienced Daily SEN Nanny in Dubai, providing essential support for 6-year-old twins, with a focus on the boy with developmental challenges. The role includes sourcing educational resources, liaising with therapists, and flexible travel. Accommodation will be provided; commitment of at least 2 years is preferred.
Position: Daily SEN Nanny (accommodation in Dubai provided)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Dubai with international travel and time in London
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
Hours: 5 days per week, 6.30am to 7.30pm/8.30pm, with time off during the day when children are at school
We are seeking a bright, caring, and highly experienced (ideally 6-10 years) daily SEN nanny who has lots of energy and common sense.
The role involves caring for 6-year-old B/G twins, primarily supporting the little boy who has hyperactivity, developmental delays, and ADHD, alongside another nanny supporting the little girl. The boy is supported by a team of therapists. He has good language skills but needs firm boundaries and a nanny who can support with behavior management. Training in ABA would be advantageous. Communication with parents and therapists is essential, and the nanny should be skilled in this area.
The nanny will work 5 days a week, with hours from 6.30am to 7.30/8.30pm, with time off during the day when children are at school. If not attending meetings or child-related duties, the nanny can use this time for personal activities such as going to the gym.
This is a live-out role, and accommodation in an apartment in JLT (Jumeirah Lake Towers), Dubai, will be provided for the nanny's sole use. A driver will pick up and drop off the nanny at the start and end of each workday.
The household is fully staffed, so no nursery duties are required. The nanny will be responsible for sourcing educational resources, planning activities, liaising with therapists, and preparing for travel.
The family will provide visas for working in Dubai. They travel regularly, including to the UK, often spontaneously, so flexibility is essential. They seek a commitment of at least 2 years to provide stability and continuity for the child.
The family prefers an active, energetic nanny with demonstrable experience working with children with SEN. Experience in an intergenerational family setting is a bonus. Flexibility regarding days off can be considered after the first 4-6 weeks, especially if the nanny has visitors in Dubai.
A driver is not required, and there are no pets.
