About the role
- We are seeking an experienced D365 Retail Functional Consultant to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Dynamics 365 Commerce (Retail) implementations, working closely with clients to optimize retail operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive digital transformation.

Essential Functions
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Dynamics 365 Commerce (Retail) solutions, ensuring seamless integration with business processes
- Collaborate with clients to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, aligning them with system functionalities
- Configure and customize D365 Retail modules, including POS (MPOS / CPOS), eCommerce, Pricing, Promotions, and Loyalty Programs
- Prepare and maintain Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Solution Design Documents (SDDs), and other project documentation
- Work closely with technical teams to define system integrations, data migration strategies, and custom enhancements
- Facilitate integrations with ERP, payment gateways, inventory systems, and third-party applications
- Conduct user training sessions and workshops to ensure effective system adoption and utilization
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal system performance
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and project alignment
- Identify risks and challenges, proposing solutions to drive project success and client satisfaction
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Dynamics AX / D365 implementations, with at least 5 years in D365 Commerce (Retail)
- Strong expertise in POS (MPOS / CPOS), eCommerce, Inventory Management, Pricing, and Promotions
- Experience in Retail business processes, including store operations, customer engagement, supply chain, and merchandising
- Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end functional solutions using Dynamics 365 Commerce
- Knowledge of integration strategies with third-party applications, ERP, and payment gateways
- Experience with data migration, system configuration, and business process optimization
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Experience in training users and preparing functional documentation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering business value
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce certifications and a Master's degree are preferred
