Job summary

Al Mashhad is seeking a CyberSecurity Engineer to join the Technology Team in Dubai. You will design, implement, and maintain robust security architecture across IT and Broadcast infrastructure. You will manage endpoint protection, vulnerability programs, and SIEM solutions in a 24-hour news environment.

The role requires deep experience with Fortinet Firewalls and EDR/SIEM platforms, and a strong background in security governance and incident response.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing security architectures for IT and broadcast environments.
• Proven ability to manage endpoint protection, vulnerability programs, and SIEM tooling.
• Strong knowledge of Fortinet, TrendMicro, Symantec, Defender suites, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Manage and support security technologies including firewalls, EDR, PAM, DLP, and email security solutions.
• Lead vulnerability management, risk assessments, and security reviews of IT and Broadcast systems.
• Coordinate remediation activities and drive internal/external audits.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and stay updated on current threats relevant to our systems.
• Monitor security events and incidents using SIEM/EDR tools and take ownership of incident resolution.
• Deliver cybersecurity awareness training across the organization and mentor junior staff.
