Monitor systems and networks for suspicious activity and respond to incidents.
Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
Investigate and remediate security events and breaches.
Implement and maintain security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, and EDR.
Support security compliance efforts (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.).
Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to improve security posture.
Stay current on cyber threats, trends, and technologies.
Document security processes and produce detailed reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
CompTIA Security+ (required or must be obtained within 90 days)
CompTIA CySA+, CEH, CISSP, GSEC, or CISM (optional)
2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity or SOC environments.
Familiarity with SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and cloud security tools.
Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
