Job description

Charterhouse is working in partnership with a Family Office based in Abu Dhabi. Our client is looking to hire a hands-on Cyber Security Engineer to work within the artificial intelligence division.

About the role

The Cyber Security Engineer will have a broad range of responsibilities encompassing all aspects of cyber security with a focus on working closely with the backend engineering team.

This is a new position within the UAE branch, where the Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for establishing and implementing the best security practices within the region. This role will advise the team on cyber security protocol and provide training when required. Other responsibilities will include monitoring and analysing security incidents to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks.

About you

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have a proven track record working as a cyber security engineer within a corporate and fast paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a DevSecOps mindset with previous experience working with software engineering teams. Experience with Cloud (Azure is the preference), Kubernetes and penetration testing is essential for this role. It will also be a bonus if the ideal candidate has a good understanding of AI. Excellent communication skills in English is essential for this position, and Mandarin speaking would be a bonus!
