Cyber Security Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cyber Security Consultant to assess, design, and implement robust security strategies for clients across the UAE. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance on cyber risk management, compliance, threat mitigation, and security architecture in line with international standards and local regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct security assessments, audits, and gap analyses across IT and OT environments.
2. Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and best practices.
3. Advise clients on risk mitigation strategies, threat intelligence, and incident response planning.
4. Support compliance initiatives aligned with UAE regulations and international standards (e.g., NESA, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
5. Lead vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination, and remediation planning.
6. Design secure network, application, and cloud infrastructure architectures.
7. Assist with the selection and deployment of cybersecurity technologies and tools.
8. Deliver cybersecurity awareness training and workshops to internal teams or client staff.
9. Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and executive presentations.
10. Stay updated with emerging threats, security trends, and regulatory developments in the region.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or advisory roles, preferably within the UAE or GCC.
3. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor.
4. Solid understanding of security frameworks, compliance standards, and regional cyber laws.
5. Experience in cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP), firewalls, SIEMs, and endpoint protection.
6. Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
8. Fluent in English; Arabic is an added advantage.
9. Willingness to travel across UAE and the wider region when required.
