Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to analyze, identify, rectify, and recommend specific improvement measures that enhance the security posture of the organization by protecting sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring customer centricity by providing appropriate cybersecurity solutions.
• Monitoring and safeguarding log sources and security access.
• Planning for disaster recovery in case of security breaches.
• Monitoring for attacks, intrusions, and unusual or unauthorized activities.
• Performing log reviews and forensic analysis to identify unauthorized data or system access.
• Conducting security assessments, risk analyses, and root cause analyses of security incidents.
• Handling escalated incidents from the L1 team in 24x7 rotational shifts.
• Using advanced analytics tools to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Completing tactical security operations tasks associated with this engagement.
• Analyzing attacks and developing remedial actions.
• Creating reports and dashboards based on incident analysis.

Stakeholder Coordination & Audit Support

• Liaising with stakeholders regarding cybersecurity issues and providing future recommendations.
• Maintaining an information security risk register and assisting with audits related to information security.
• Supporting the creation, maintenance, and delivery of cybersecurity awareness training.
• Providing advice and guidance to employees on issues such as spam and malicious emails.

• Customer Centricity: Timely security breach resolution to enhance user and stakeholder experience.
• Process Adherence: Adherence to SLAs (90-95%), response times, and resolution TAT.
