Job summary

Arootah is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen information security across our hedge fund/family office clients in the UAE. The role involves reviewing practices, guiding vendor selections, and implementing policies to safeguard critical data and systems.

Ideal candidates possess 5+ years in similar roles, relevant certifications, and in-depth knowledge of MS platforms and security monitoring. The position emphasizes hands-on operations and clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/IS or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst in hedge funds or family offices.
• Certifications such as CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, GSEC, GCIH, GNFA, or GREM.
• Experience with Splunk Cloud, Rapid7 Nexpose, Sophos, Varonis, or ForeScout.
• Understanding of Microsoft enterprise platforms (Azure, Active Directory, SQL, Office365).
• Knowledge of security event management and network security monitoring.
• Experience with security frameworks like NIST, COBIT, or ISO.
• Strong writing and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
