Recruitment Requirement of Customs Clearance Engineer

  • Review customs-related documents, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other required forms.
  • Ensure all documents comply with local and international customs regulations.
  • Customs Compliance
    • Stay updated on Iraqi customs laws, tariffs, and trade regulations to ensure compliance.
    • Identify and mitigate risks related to customs violations or delays.
  • Communication with Customs Authorities
    • Liaise with customs officers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to resolve issues or provide clarifications.
    • Represent the company during customs audits or investigations.
  • Import/Export Process Management
    • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely clearance of goods.
    • Monitor and track shipments to ensure they meet customs requirements and schedules.
  • Tariff Classification
    • Determine the correct classification of goods for customs purposes, ensuring accurate HS (Harmonized System) codes are used.
  • Cost Optimization
