About the role

In this role, you will be responsible to provide critical Credit and Operational support to Relationship Managers by preparing comprehensive credit proposals, performing in-depth financial analysis, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards, and upholding exceptional service quality for our SME client base.

Reporting to the AVP & Manager – SME Coverage, you will also play a pivotal role in streamlining client onboarding, managing documentation, and overseeing portfolio monitoring activities. Your efforts will directly contribute to business growth and effective risk management.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Prepare comprehensive credit proposals, credit limit applications (new/renewals), and financial analysis
  • Monitor covenant compliance, early warning signals, and facility utilization
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients on operational and documentation matters
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Trade, Operations, Credit) to resolve queries and process transactions
  • Assist in client onboarding, KYC reviews, and maintenance of CRM records
  • Ensure accurate data entry in banking systems and timely fulfilment of documentation (security agreements, facility terms)
  • Generate MIS reports, credit monitoring tools, and audit support materials
  • Uphold regulatory, statutory, and internal policy requirements
  • Work closely with Relationship Managers to address client needs and escalate issues proactively

What we are looking for:

Education: Bachelor's Degreein finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on credit analysis and business support

Industry Exposure: Strong understanding of Banking &/Or Financial Services industry
