Job description

Perform all procedures related to supply chain management within the company, providing efficient transportation alternatives and maintaining up-to-date records for compliance audits.

1. Create documents required for the export or import of goods in collaboration with 3PL providers, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and load lists.
2. Assist with customer inquiries regarding export or import procedures.
3. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other transportation providers to ensure timely delivery and pickup of shipments; proactively address customs and shipment issues.
4. Maintain records of all import and export transactions, track shipments, and prepare reports.
5. Update shipment information in the SAP system.
6. Ensure proper customs documentation is used for shipments; track relevant BOE and claim numbers through Dubai Trade for compliance.
7. Monitor product damages and insurance procedures.
8. Oversee special cargo requirements, such as temperature control, dangerous goods (DG), and demo cargo.
9. Evaluate the performance of freight forwarders and transporters.
10. Provide necessary reports to management as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience as a customer service or operations executive within the freight forwarding industry.
• Experience handling pharma clients is an added advantage.
