Job Summary
Customer service associate (CSA) job requires a high level of customer interaction and should have good customer facing and communication skills. Responsible for providing the highest standards of Customer service, provides excellent customer satisfaction. Apart from selling, CSA are also responsible for the stocking, visual merchandising, ordering of merchandise and related administrative duties.
Job Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for providing high standards of Customer Service which includes gift wrapping and provide after sales service.
- Responsible for greeting all customers promptly and politely as they enter the store and ensure to follow the customer service standards.
- Guide customers throughout the store or to the specific area as per customer requests.
- Find out the specific needs of each customer that enters the store.
- Operate as a cashier. It should be each employees goal to use the POS machine without error and to be consistently accurate in money handling.
- Ensure to keep the shop floor clean and tidy. As well as tidying up, youll be restocking goods when theyre selling out, and ensuring theyre attractively displayed as per brand guidance, particularly if its in a sale or on offer.
- Work towards reducing incidence of theft, shop lifting, and alert manager in any case of such.
- Ensure Grooming standards guidelines followed as per brand standards.
- Ensure to meet high-level of Attendance and Punctuality.
- Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor, stocking shelves with merchandise, check stock daily to ensure that all products are adequately stocked and available for customers.
- This includes unloading and movement of material from the goods carrier to the back store and from the back store to the shop. If stock is not currently available offer to put the customers name on the wish list, call them when stock arrives.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized back- stock area including staff break area.
- Follows FIFO (First In First Out) all the time.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in Chocolate, Food Retail or Food & Beverage industry.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in English.
