Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a Cashier for MAF LifeStyle in the Operations team. The role will handle the cash register, processing sales transactions, and greeting customers on the shop floor to ensure the highest levels of service and sales achievement.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of retail experience, is fluent in English, and holds a High School Certificate. Responsibilities include stock handling, maintaining desk standards, and promoting current promotions to customers.

Responsibilities

• Address customer concerns promptly and escalate to Store Manager when necessary.
• Be aware of product range and current instore promotions; share information to encourage sales.
• Support sales teams through the sales process to maximize business.
• Achieve sales targets and find creative ways to exceed them with the customer in mind.
• Operate the cash register, receive payments, and issue receipts/bills.
• Maintain cash desk standards including cleanliness, tidiness, and replenishment.
• Complete store opening/closing checklists; manage stock delivery and display replenishment.
• Monitor potential security risks and escalate issues when necessary.
