Customer Engineer (Customer Technical Liaison)

As a provider of cutting-edge aircraft retrofit solutions, Boeing Global Services (BGS) is expanding the Customer Engineering team to continue providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
Currently, Boeing Global Services is looking for a Customer Engineer (Customer Technical Liaison) to join our team in Dubai, UAE, or Dublin, Ireland. The selected individual will act as the main technical point of contact during Phase I (capturing the business) for both airline and leasing customers. The Customer Engineer will liaise continuously with customers to understand their retrofit modification requirements, initiate proposal generation, and keep customers informed of progress.
Our team welcomes a range of experience levels, including: Mid-level to Lead Level Customer Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers (airlines and lessors) to understand their retrofit modification requirements.
- Review aircraft configurations, provide technical expertise, and assist customers in selecting appropriate retrofit modifications based on aircraft configurations and operational requirements.
- Communicate worldwide regulatory and airspace requirements to customers for potential configuration changes.
- Initiate the proposal generation process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present retrofit proposals.
- Support modifications across all business product lines including Interiors, Connectivity, Avionics, AP&S (Airplane Performance & Safety), and BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter).
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and team members.
- Monitor proposal progress and keep customers updated.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering major or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid background in aviation engineering with a deep understanding of aircraft retrofit modifications.
- Experience in customer-facing roles demonstrating excellent communication, relationship-building skills, and capacity to understand and address customer needs.
- Experience working with airline and/or leasing organizations.
- Experience with FAA/EASA Part 21 design organizations.
- Good communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; and develop conclusions and recommendations.
