Job Description

Role purpose

Manages small to large scale Campaigns (destination and culture) led by the marketing and strategic communication sector, contributing to the department marketing and promotion programs and initiatives to achieve desired marketing results and outputs. Directs the department to identify and manage relationships with stakeholders both internal and external and ensures KPIs are met.

Key responsibilities

  1. Managing local marketing campaigns for tourist destinations and experiences
  2. Leading and supervising the development and implementation of marketing campaigns in various local markets according to specific plans, goals, schedules, and budgets to reach target groups
  3. Monitoring and supervising campaigns to ensure content aligns with objectives and standards
  4. Managing relationships with external companies and sector teams to meet marketing needs
  5. Directing the team, clarifying stakeholder roles, coordinating operational tasks, and monitoring outputs
  6. Researching market developments and reviewing proposals to improve performance
  7. Implementing marketing campaigns within the Sector Marketing Culture Section, providing solutions for potential issues
  8. Analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of local marketing campaigns
  9. Reviewing and reporting on marketing initiatives, maintaining relevant documentation
  10. Managing budgets for marketing campaigns and reviewing reports

Communications & Business Relationships

Internal: Sector Marketing, other relevant departments and divisions

External: Relevant external institutions/companies, stakeholders/partners

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience

Minimum 6-8 years in marketing or similar sector.

Skills

  • Fluency in written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to manage and direct subordinate employees
  • Strong management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent management skills with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, capable of working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Experience in destination and/or culture marketing is a plus
