Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of field experience in the industry.
• Ability to map graduate and Ph.D. courses to 18 credit hours of graduate studies with evidence of a U.S. credit system.
• Minimum of one research publication in a Scopus-indexed journal.

Job Purpose

The faculty member is responsible for providing students with professional expertise through teaching, assessing student work, academic advising, participation in administrative and committee activities, professional service, and community service.

Qualifications & Education

• Ph.D. in a related field, such as International Relations, International Security, or Political Science, from an accredited university in the United States of America or a recognized university accredited by an American accreditation body.
• Minimum of 3 years of field experience in the industry.
• Ability to map graduate and Ph.D. courses, or research-based coursework, equivalent to 18 credit hours of graduate studies, with evidence of a similar U.S. credit system in the required fields.
• Minimum of one research publication in a Scopus-indexed journal.

Experience

• Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of teaching and/or professional experience at an internationally accredited university.
• Proven record of excellence in teaching at the baccalaureate and graduate levels.
• Candidates must have either higher education or teaching experience at an accredited university in the United States of America.

• Present research- and practice-driven teaching.
• Adapt the latest pedagogical techniques to stimulate student inquiry and provide students with a broad and coherent body of knowledge.
• Develop students' skills and competencies through engaging delivery techniques and appropriate assessments.

2. Instructional Management

• Effectively manage instructional processes and classroom activities.

3. Assessment and Evaluation

• Evaluate students' performance and assign grades.
• Provide clear assessment criteria that reflect course content and learning outcomes.
• Set clear expectations for students and minimize cognitive bias in the assessment process.

4. Curriculum Development and Review

Contribute to the regular review and improvement of existing curricula to ensure quality and effectiveness.

• Ensure the currency and relevance of theories and practices in the field.
• Maintain intellectual rigor appropriate to the level of the degree program.

• Support increasingly complex presentations of theories, principles, and practices.

5. Research and/or Scholarship
