Faststream Recruitment is seeking a Crewing Officer to join an established international marine and offshore services business based in Dubai.

The role supports day-to-day crewing requirements for a diverse fleet of offshore workboats. You will coordinate rotations, maintain records, and ensure vessels are properly manned in line with regulatory and client requirements.

Competenze

• Experience as Crewing Officer, Crew Coordinator, or similar maritime crewing role.
• Experience supporting offshore vessels, workboats or marine construction fleets.
• Solid knowledge of seafarer certification, STCW requirements and crew mobilisation.
• Experience coordinating international crew changes, visas and travel.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and liaison with offshore personnel and internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and crewing management systems.
• UAE-based candidates preferred.

The Role

This is an opportunity to join a busy marine operations team supporting the day-to-day crewing requirements of a diverse fleet of offshore and specialist workboats The Crewing Officer will be responsible for coordinating crew changes maintaining crew documentation and ensuring vessels are appropriately manned to meet operational and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew rotations mobilisations and demobilisations across the fleet
• Arrange crew travel accommodation visas and other mobilisation requirements
• Maintain accurate crew records certifications medicals and training documentation
• Ensure compliance with STCW flag state client and company requirements
• Liaise with vessel Masters operational teams crewing agencies and external service providers
• Monitor crew availability leave schedules and upcoming certification renewals
• Support recruitment onboarding and deployment of marine personnel
• Resolve day-to-day crewing issues to minimise disruption to vessel operations
• Maintain crewing databases and provide regular updates to management

Previous Experience

• Previous experience in a Crewing Officer, Crew Coordinator or similar maritime crewing position.
• Experience supporting offshore vessels, workboats or marine construction fleets would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of seafarer certification, STCW requirements and crew mobilisation processes.
• Experience coordinating international crew changes, visas and travel arrangements.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with offshore personnel and internal departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and crewing management systems.
• Candidates already based in the UAE would be preferred.
