Job Role

We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Credit Controller to join our EMEA Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work as a key member of this highly visible international Finance team, in a growing and diversifying business.

Working in the EMEA Shared Services team, this is a pan-EMEA role involving managing an Accounts Receivable portfolio across multiple offices in the MENA region. The primary responsibilities include identifying potential credit issues, providing collections guidance, supporting client-facing teams, and managing regional debt and provisions.

Candidates should be well-organized, task-oriented, able to meet deadlines, multitask, and follow instructions. They should be personable, confident communicators, and understand the importance of building relationships with internal and external clients. We seek a team player who can contribute to the team’s success.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Assist the EMEA Credit Control Team Leads daily.
  • Support Client Partners in collecting outstanding invoices, including reviews, meetings, reporting, and debt chasing.
  • Manage EMEA-wide client accounts and countries needing assistance.
  • Prepare quarterly reviews of invoices over 180 days for SOX compliance and assign bad debt provisions.
  • Post cash accurately and timely, including intercompany payments.
  • Collaborate with Billing & Accounts Payable to resolve queries and escalate issues as needed.
  • Resolve credit balances and unassigned cash, documenting in line with legal requirements.
Requirements
  • Assist in Month-End close from an AR perspective.
  • Work with legal teams on collection matters when necessary.
  • Identify and escalate bad debt write-offs.
  • Support time-sensitive projects and perform ad hoc tasks.
Experience and Skills

  • Bright, numerate, and enthusiastic.
  • Team player capable of multitasking in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar systems is advantageous.
