What we're looking for

The ENTERTAINER is on the lookout for a meticulous and seasoned Credit Controller to enhance our finance team's capabilities. As a pivotal component of our financial operations, the Credit Controller will spearhead our credit and collections strategy, driving the timely acquisition of payments and reducing credit risk. We are searching for an individual with a keen analytical mind, exceptional communication skills, and a forward-thinking attitude towards credit management.

Important Note: This role will be based in Dubai for the first 6 months. After this initial period, the successful candidate will be required to relocate to Saudi Arabia to support our operations there. Candidates must be open to and eligible for relocation.

As a Credit Controller, you will

1. Proactively manage and collect outstanding customer account balances to ensure the resolution of dues.
2. Achieve or surpass monthly collection targets, contributing to the company's financial health.
3. Cultivate customer relationships to ensure prompt payments while preserving high retention rates.
4. Analyse and reduce debtor balances, aiming for continuous improvement in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
5. Conduct intricate account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies.
6. Uphold and enforce stringent credit and collection policies within your team.
7. Engage in effective communication with customers and coordinate with internal teams such as sales to streamline processes.
8. Oversee and manage closed receivables and coordinate with third-party collection agencies as necessary.
9. Maintain accurate records on the vendor registration portal, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
10. Guarantee that all invoices are issued in alignment with client agreements.
11. Address customer inquiries promptly and efficiently on a daily basis.
12. Engage in face-to-face meetings with clients to address account-related issues and promote seamless business operations.
13. Accurately record and allocate information within the system.
14. Actively seek out and recommend opportunities for business improvement.
15. Engage in direct dialogue with Sales Managers and the Country Manager regarding payment issues, keeping them informed about financial interactions with clients.
16. Regularly report to the Head of Credit Control, escalating issues as needed.
17. Fulfill the company's service guarantees, ensuring customer satisfaction.
18. Foster clear and effective communication within the team, promoting a collaborative work environment.

• 3+ years of proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable roles.
