We are hiring a Group Credit Analyst based in the UAE to lead customer credit assessment, credit risk reporting, and support cross-functional teams across regions.

You’ll work closely with Finance, Commercial, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure customer onboarding, payment terms, and securities are fully aligned with Group risk appetite.

The Credit Analyst will be responsible for:

Driving Customers credit assessment:

  • performing, training, consulting local finance in credit assessment process, maintain and update methodology in policies and procedures
  • consolidate the results of assessment and sources of assessment in score card
  • control & validation of customer set up and credit terms in the system (rating, limit, payment terms, security)
  • maintain group portfolio in ERP, credit rating agency solution, and Insurance company solution
  • track alerts from Insurance company and credit rating agency
  • align with Legal on compliance and sanctions checks

Performing order management, payment terms and security maintenance:

  • monitoring credit events
  • advising business on credit standing of counterparty, orders status, security required
  • participation in orders release, approval of extended payment terms and credit limits
  • training colleagues on payment terms and securities aligned with the risk profile of the customers

Regular reporting on:

  • Customers aging, exposure and collection performance,
  • Portfolios/regions/divisions quality analysis,
  • individual measurement and performance statistics
  • Monthly prepare analysis and reporting for MIS and Credit Committee

Participation in Projects:

  • Setting up the rules for credit risk analysis in ERP
  • Onboarding of Credit Management AI-driven system
  • Trade receivables platform onboarding

The successful candidate

  • 5 years of experience in a similar in-house international corporate role
  • Experience in working with and creation of credit scoring, sources of risk ratings consolidation, working with D&B/LexisNexis/Moody’s/S&P reports and solutions
  • Knowledge of financial statement analysis, credit analysis, Scoring
  • Proficient in Excel and preparing presentation
  • Strong analytical skills, structured thinking, attention to details
  • English language proficiency
