Job Purpose
- Ensure correctness and completeness of credit and security documentation for Privilege Banking, Corporate & Institutional Banking, including facility limits, securities reporting on Bank systems, CBUAE Portal, and all related data and reports. Maintain proper registration, lodging, and safeguarding of original credit and security documents in dual control safe custody.
- Ensure compliance with the Bank’s Policies, Procedures, and Credit Administration SOP by maintaining proper controls.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Review prepared credit documentation for Privilege Banking, Corporate & Institutional Banking, ensuring the use of standard documentation and adherence to credit controls as per credit committee approvals, within delegation authorities.
- Verify the validity and completeness of signed credit documents, ensuring signatures are authorized and confirmed by Legal.
- Manage credit files, including scanning original documents and maintaining copies.
- Register and lodge original documents in dual control safe custody, and maintain an updated lodge register through annual reviews.
- Input, monitor, and maintain credit facility limits and loans on the Equation System, and coordinate collateral registration, disbursements, and amendments with Loan Operations.
- Register new movable securities or amendments on the EIRC Portal.
- Handle Availment Tickets/Requests from business units to ensure transactions comply with approved credit limits and terms.
- Prepare and verify periodic reports, including Regulatory Reports, Credit Risk Reports, and Monthly Tickler, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Extract credit reports from AECB, CBUAE, and EIRC portals.
- Update the Private and Corporate lending portfolio on the UAE Central Bank Portal monthly.
- Monitor and record the Loan to Value ratio for real estate collateral and pledged shares, ensuring compliance with policies and revaluation procedures.
- Reconcile Credit Administration Suspense Accounts.
- Monitor semi-annual interest payments for the Private Banking loans portfolio.
- Support audit requirements related to Credit Administration and assist in addressing audit findings to mitigate high-risk issues.
- Provide daily support to Unit and Relationship Officers, and assist with other tasks assigned by Management.
- Participate in reporting, system enhancements, and issue resolution related to AECB.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
- University Degree
- 5-10 years of professional experience in Credit Administration
- Good knowledge of Corporate and Private Banking credit processes and functions
- Understanding of legal aspects related to borrowing, guarantees, collateral structures, and documentation
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and core banking systems
- Organized, detail-oriented, and good follow-up skills
- Ability to deliver timely, quality work
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
