Job Overview
As a Credit Administration Executive, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing legal and credit-related documentation. This includes accurate recordkeeping, internal system updates, and collaboration with legal, compliance, and credit teams. The role also supports periodic audits, process enhancements, and regulatory reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Draft and review facility documentation, legal opinions, and credit-related materials per sanctioned approvals
* Track and rectify document discrepancies, deferrals, or waivers; coordinate with internal teams for approvals
* Scan, archive, and safeguard original client documentation (physical and digital)
* Maintain accurate collateral, limit, and customer data in core banking systems
* Record credit-related transactions and ensure accurate system entries
* Prepare internal reports on documentation gaps, expired items, and monthly performance metrics
* Support cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulatory frameworks
* Coordinate with audit departments, respond to findings, and follow up on remediation actions
* Prepare regulatory and internal reports timely and accurately
* Assist with account provisioning, write-offs, and updates on customer status
* Perform documentation-related administrative tasks including mail, acknowledgments, and safekeeping
* Provide timely support to the line manager and serve as a backup during peak times or staff absence
Required Skills and Experience
* Management degree in Banking, Finance, or related field
* 2 3 years of experience in credit administration or legal documentation within a bank
* Sound understanding of lending products, credit control processes, and loan documentation
* Familiarity with legal contracts, collateral management, and compliance reporting
* Experience working with core banking systems and document management platforms
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach
* Good interpersonal and stakeholder coordination skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
* Knowledge of private and investment banking products is a plus
* Fluency in English; knowledge of French or Arabic is advantageous for regulatory coordination
