Want More in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes and desserts in line with customer preferences. The role offers a salary of 900 per month and welcomes applicants who are immigrants to the region.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining high quality ingredients, creating new recipes, managing stock, and ensuring strict food safety standards in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a pastry chef or similar role in a high-end kitchen/restaurant/catering facility.
• Excellent knowledge of baking techniques and recipes.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake high-quality pastries, cakes, pies, tarts and other desserts according to customer tastes.
• Ensure that all ingredients used are fresh and of the highest quality.
• Develop creative new recipes for desserts as needed.
• Monitor stocks of ingredients and food supplies.
• Ensure that kitchen is kept clean and organized at all times.
• Follow all food safety guidelines when preparing items for consumption.
• Maintain inventory records of baked goods sold.
• Assist with catering orders as necessary.
