Qualifications

Proven work experience as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen.

Understanding of HACCP principles and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare cakes, breads, pastries, pies, cookies, desserts and other bakery products according to recipes or customer orders.
Perform baking duties such as mixing ingredients, kneading dough, adjusting oven settings, monitoring baking, and decorating cakes.
Assess quality of ingredients or prepared foods.
Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies, ingredients, equipment and tools.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and utensils used in the baking process.
