Job summary

Flyper in Abu-Dhabi is seeking an Executive Chef with a creative flair to lead all kitchen operations, from menu creation to staff management, ensuring meals meet the highest standards and comply with health and safety regulations.

The role involves developing new menus, guiding cooks, managing food ordering, controlling costs, and maintaining a safe, efficient kitchen environment; we welcome both experienced cooks and those without prior experience.

Salary offered is 1,500 AED per month.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma related to culinary arts or hospitality management.
• Exceptional organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team of cooks.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Previous experience working in a professional kitchen is preferred but not essential; we are willing to consider those without prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new menus and recipes and manage staff while ensuring food quality.
• Prepare food according to customer specifications and maintain a safe working environment in the kitchen.
• Lead and manage a team of cooks, oversee food ordering, cost control and inventory management.
• Ensure health regulations related to food preparation and storage are met and provide guidance to kitchen staff.
