Job summary

PPOAR in Zayed City, Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of professional kitchen experience and can plan menus, order ingredients, and cook dishes that are appealing and nutritious.

You will ensure health and safety standards, monitor dish quality, and work well with kitchen and front-of-house staff; candidates from outside the UAE are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional experience as a Chef
• Ability to plan and prepare meals that are appealing and nutritious
• Strong communication and teamwork with kitchen and front-of-house staff
• Creative, organized and able to work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare meals for customers following recipes and menus
• Select recipes and create menus; order ingredients
• Prepare meals according to established recipes and ensure health and safety standards
• Monitor the quality of dishes served to ensure customer satisfaction
• Coordinate with kitchen assistants and front-of-house staff
• Demonstrate good communication and teamwork; suitable for candidates from outside the country
