Job summary

India Abroad is seeking an experienced chef for Al Shamkhah City, UAE. You will create menus, craft dishes, and lead a high-standard kitchen team with emphasis on taste and quality.

The role requires knowledge of modern and traditional cookery, adherence to health and safety, and strong communication and leadership to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced setting.

Competitive salary around 1100 AED/month plus benefits; visa support and opportunities for growth may be provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in culinary arts or related field.
• At least 3 years of professional kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of advanced cookery techniques is preferred but not necessary.
• Foreigner welcome to apply for the position.

Responsibilities

• Design menus and plan meals.
• Plan and cost meals.
• Purchase fresh ingredients and maintain stock levels.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and ensure health and safety standards.
• Lead the kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Oversee the daily operation of the restaurant kitchen.
