As a Creative Art Manager at a leading airline, you will drive the visual evolution of the brand and deliver world-class design concepts. Collaborating closely with internal teams, you'll ensure creative excellence across all visual outputs, mentoring talent while managing multiple projects to enhance brand recognition globally.
As a Creative Art Manager at Etihad Airways, you will Implement the art direction across brand, product, and commercial initiatives, driving the visual evolution of our brand across all touchpoints. You will be a key member of our in-house creative team, delivering bold, world-class design concepts that are visually compelling and culturally relevant. Working in close collaboration with the Art Manager, Senior Creative Manager, and cross-functional teams—including copywriters, production, and marketing—you will help shape and execute breakthrough creative work that resonates globally and reinforces our brand identity.
Accountabilities
Drive the Evolution of the Brand’s Visual Identity - Implement the creative direction across all visual channels—including design, photography, film, digital, and social—ensuring alignment with brand strategy and senior creative leadership.
Set the Standard for Creative Excellence - Champion design quality and innovation across all outputs, maintaining world-class standards in typography, layout, photography, motion, and animation.
Lead Concept Development and Campaign Execution - Direct the development of strategic, insight-driven creative concepts and oversee their execution across integrated campaigns, ensuring cohesive storytelling across print, digital, film, and social.
Ensure Brand Consistency Across Touchpoints - Serve as a brand guardian, ensuring every visual asset reflects Etihad’s DNA and adheres to established guidelines while adapting to evolving trends and platforms.
Implement and Uphold Visual Guidelines - Enforce visual brand standards across internal and external teams, promoting consistency and excellence in all creative deliverables.
Mentor and Develop Creative Talent - Provide leadership and guidance to designers, offering strategic and design feedback that nurtures individual growth and team performance.
Oversee Creative Project Management - Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of creative projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
Education & Experience
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in art direction and design in creative advertising agencies. Previously worked in roles such as Senior Art Director, Creative Group Head (art).
A portfolio that demonstrates experience in art direction, print executions, film and activation production.
Experience in aviation is a plus but not a necessity.
