Job description

• Operate crawler cranes with precision to lift, move, and place heavy materials on construction sites, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
• Conduct daily inspections of the crane and its components to identify any maintenance needs or safety issues before operation.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to understand lifting plans and ensure seamless execution of tasks.
• Utilize hand signals or radio communication to coordinate with ground personnel during lifts to prevent accidents and ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate logs of all crane operations, including load weights, durations, and any incidents that occur during shifts.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following emergency procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs on the crane to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay informed about weather conditions and site-specific hazards that may affect crane operations and take necessary precautions.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent, with additional vocational training in crane operation preferred.
• At least 3-5 years of experience operating crawler cranes on construction sites, showcasing a solid track record of safety.
• Proven experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, lift plans, and load charts to execute precise operations.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to address minor issues on-site promptly.
• Fluency in English, with additional language skills being a plus for effective communication on diverse job sites.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions to ensure safe and efficient operations.
