Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in crane maintenance, heavy plant equipment or port operations in Dubai, UAE.
• Strong knowledge of electrical fault diagnosis and industrial repair techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and electrical schematics.
• Understanding of port safety regulations and maintenance procedures.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned electrical maintenance, diagnostics and repair works on cranes and related plant equipment.
• Diagnose faults, determine root causes and identify effective repair methods and spare part requirements.
• Select correct spare parts using technical manuals and equipment documentation.
• Perform crane-related electrical repairs in accordance with DP World systems and procedures.
• Communicate progress and technical findings to supervisors and maintenance teams.
• Attend on-site assignments beyond regular workshop locations as required.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Support daily activities of the maintenance team to maintain equipment reliability and uptime.
