Job summary

Flyper in Abu Dhabi is seeking a crane operator to safely and efficiently operate cranes during loading and unloading operations on-site. You will read and understand safety instructions, follow safety regulations, maintain awareness of surroundings, and ensure equipment is operated safely.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with no prior experience to gain hands-on crane operation skills. The role requires collaboration with other on-site personnel, strict adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Understand safety procedures when working with heavy machinery.
• Able to read and understand technical manuals related to crane operations.
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane safely according to manufacturer’s specifications and safety regulations.
• Load and unload materials using appropriate methods for the type of load being worked with.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to avoid hazards to personnel or equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols while operating crane including wearing required PPE such as hard hat and safety glasses.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, stored, and inspected regularly.
• Communicate any issues or potential hazards to management or supervisor immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of tasks performed while operating crane.
