Job summary

Star Services LLC is seeking an experienced operator to manage mobile cranes and support equipment offshore. You will adhere to safety standards, perform daily checks, log faults, and coordinate with riggers and banksmen to ensure smooth lifting operations.

The role requires at least 5 years of crane experience, a technical diploma, and a willingness to work offshore on a 7-day schedule with a 6-month probation. UAE labour rules apply.

Qualifications

• High School Graduates and 2 years Technical Diploma.
• 5 years relevant practical experience operating mobile cranes, preferably in Oil & Gas.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile cranes, forklifts and light/heavy vehicles.
• Ensure lifting ops follow Company procedures and HSE/Quality standards.
• Daily checks of equipment; log faults and damages; coordinate signals with ground crew.
• Complete lifting activities on time per standards and maintenance plan.
• Maintain equipment and facilities per instructions and standards.
• Prepare shift reports to inform management of daily maintenance.
• Monitor equipment condition and report faults to foreman/supervisor.
• Submit reports timely and accurately per schedule.
• Record inspection results of related equipment.
• Adhere to established procedures.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Operate mobile cranes, forklifts and light and heavy vehicles.
• Ensure lifting and other related operations are carried out in accord to Company's procedures and HSE/Quality standards.
• Daily checking of heavy equipment conditions before using and log any fault operation or any damage on the heavy equipment & other vehicles coordinate with ground operators/Riggers/Banksman and interpret hand and verbal signals.
• Timely completion of lifting activities as per standards and maintenance plan.
• The job holder is accountable for carrying out maintenance activities on equipment and facilities as per instruction and defined standards.
• Prepare status update/shift reports to keep management informed about the daily maintenance activities and o facilitate decision making.
• Regular checking of heavy equipment conditions and report any fault operation of the heavy equipment and other vehicles to foreman -civil and supervisor-civil.
• All reports are presented timely and accurately in line with schedule. .
• Monitor the physical condition of related equipment,and record results of inspection.
• Adherence to procedures.
