Responsibilities

• Operate cranes and forklifts within rated capacities to lift and transport heavy materials and equipment.
• Verify load weights against crane load charts and ensure lifting capacity is not exceeded.
• Position and secure heavy components safely before lifting operations.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on lifting equipment.
• Report mechanical faults or malfunctions immediately to supervisors.
• Ensure lifting operations are conducted smoothly and in accordance with operational procedures.
• Consider environmental factors such as weather and ground conditions when performing lifts.
• Maintain effective communication with signal persons during lifting operations.
• Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and hazard-free after completion of tasks.
• Comply with work permit requirements and traffic safety regulations.
• Maintain valid registration, insurance documentation, and required consumables.
