Job Description

1. Conduct business & perform duties/tasks in accordance with McDermott’s Code of Business Conduct.
2. Adhere to HSES and McDermott’s Quality Policies.
3. Operate lifting or transferring equipment following guidelines and safe work practices.
4. Communicate effectively with colleagues and Signalman to ensure clear understanding and execution of all lifts.
5. Verify that all safety barriers and precautions are in place before lift commencement.
6. Ensure compliance with HSE policies and overriding company policies.
7. Immediately remove unsafe, damaged, or defective tools or lifting devices from the site and report to the Rigging Superintendent.
8. Thoroughly inspect machinery/vehicles for defects or damages that could compromise safety.
9. Report any safety concerns regarding machinery/vehicles immediately to the Rigging Superintendent.
10. Promote a safety-first culture within the Rigging Crew.
11. Maintain good housekeeping discipline at all times.
12. Understand precise instructions and ensure the use of appropriately rated equipment for safe and efficient operations.
13. Attend all Toolbox Talks.
14. Report incidents or near misses immediately to the Rigging Superintendent.
15. Understand and adhere to the Company HSE Policy, Philosophy, and Procedures.
16. Take instructions only from the Signalman during lift operations and ensure the Signalman is wearing high-visibility vests.

Maintain high standards of safety, quality, productivity, and compliance with the Code of Business Conduct.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating Crawler or Mobile Cranes with a valid UAE No.8 driver’s license.
