Job Description

Role: Coverage Head - Wealth Coverage - UAE & International

Location: Dubai

Role Purpose: The Coverage Head will lead a team of Senior Relationship Managers, Relationship Managers, and Associate Relationship Managers. Responsibilities include onboarding, building, and managing relationships within UHNW and HNW client segments to drive wealth management growth. The focus will be on onboarding NTB clients from UAE and international markets, expanding into new regions, and leading specialized desks for international corridors. The role involves overseeing relationship management, delivering tailored solutions, ensuring compliance, and achieving key performance metrics such as NTB onboarding, wealth revenues, investment AUMs, liabilities, FX revenues, and NTW.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Develop strategies to onboard UHNW and HNW clients from targeted markets, build referral networks, leverage existing relationships, and collaborate with investment advisors to provide personalized investment strategies.
  2. Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor the team, oversee performance, set targets, and foster a high-performance culture through coaching and development.
  3. Portfolio Growth: Drive acquisition of new wealth, increase NNM and NTW, and ensure growth in liability portfolios such as CASA, TD, and Wakala. Collaborate with product teams for tailored offerings.
  4. Market Expansion & Strategy: Expand the bank’s footprint within UAE and international corridors, identify new opportunities, and execute strategic initiatives.
  5. Client Servicing: Ensure exceptional service, handle complex queries, build long-term relationships, and maintain high client retention.
  6. Market Intelligence & Strategy: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client preferences to inform business strategies and contribute to the wealth management strategy.
  7. Risk & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, risk policies, KYC, AML standards, and guide the team accordingly.
  8. Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and partners.
  9. Reporting & Performance: Regularly report on performance metrics and provide insights on market trends and product performance.
