Job summary

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank PJSC is seeking an Internal Control Specialist in Abu Dhabi to manage Central Bank notices, court letters, deceased cases, and balance confirmations. You will prepare letters within agreed timelines, coordinate case documentation, ensure compliance with directives, and support the Court Order Management team.

The role involves maintaining orderly documents, enhancing process efficiency, and liaising with internal signatories to ensure timely payments and settlements.

Qualifications

• Handle Central Bank Notices, Court Attachments Orders, Deceased Cases and Balance Confirmation Certificates.
• Prepare response letters within the agreed TAT and in line with procedures and work instructions.
• Coordinate case documentation, ensure compliance with court directives and timely communication.
• Support Court Management by executing court-related actions and maintaining interdepartmental collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Upon receiving notices/requests from the Internal Control Manager, process Central Bank notices and court letters.
• Search ADIB records for name matches and confirm findings.
• Retrieve customer information and draft response letters for review and sign-off by authorized signatories.
• Create/manage files for deceased case settlements, ensure payment processing and delivery to court as per approvals.
• Prepare Balance Confirmation Certificates per procedures for checker review and signature.
• Maintain custody of related documents until transfer to Central Custody Unit in line with the Clean Desk Policy.
• Assist in training and development, expand technical knowledge and participate in Court Order Management projects.
• Foster teamwork and uphold service standards across the organization.
• Act as backup for other court order activities and support RCSA and special tasks from Controls Head.
