What is the job about
In very close partnership with the Country Lead, the role of Country HR is:
- To ensure a one country approach by designing, implementing, and coordinating local processes and policies according to global Grundfos guidelines, while ensuring adherence to local laws and regulations.
- To drive and support the Grundfos One Culture approach in the country by providing support and advice on a broad range of HR topics, acting as guides for the local organization to ensure a good employee experience.
Main responsibilities:
Legal & compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and act as company representative in resolving related complaints.
- Prepare for HR audits and respond to labor authority requests.
- Manage non-compliance cases and embed company values from a compliance perspective.
- Maintain overview of legal cases, costs, and consequences.
- Organize local compliance trainings as relevant.
HR policies and processes
- Establish and implement local policies aligning with group policies and local legislation.
- Lead deployment and alignment of HR processes across the country.
- Translate global policies into local actions and support global HR system implementations.
Labor relations
- Support representation before authorities and legal entities.
- Advise managers on legal issues, employee discipline, and grievances.
- Help prevent employment law issues and resolve conflicts.
People and culture
- Drive and support the local engagement and culture initiatives.
- Manage vendor agreements related to HR services.
- Coordinate initiatives to enhance employee and manager experience.
Transactional activities
- Payroll management, benefits administration, onboarding, offboarding, recruitment support, training, compliance reporting, and employee data management.
Your Background:
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience with operational expertise
- Experience designing HR processes and policies
- Experience with HR systems (preferably SuccessFactors and ServiceNow)
- Knowledge of UAE/JAFZA employment and labor law
- Experience working in an international, matrix organization
