Job Overview:

The Cost & Project Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving cost efficiency and project performance across all YMC initiatives. This position is responsible for overseeing financial tracking, reporting, and performance optimization of General and Administrative (G&A) expenses and Cost of Sales, with a strong focus on cost control, savings plans, and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting across all YMC projects and financial initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze project expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and financial targets.
  • Identify and implement cost optimization initiatives related to both Cost of Sales and G&A expenses.
  • Collaborate with various departments to track savings plans and support cost-efficiency strategies.
  • Prepare regular dashboards and executive reports to highlight project progress, variances, and risks.
  • Support financial forecasting, planning cycles, and performance improvement measures across functions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements to improve project and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure alignment with financial compliance and internal governance policies related to expenditure and project controls.

Job Specifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a coordination role within the entertainment industry, preferably in venue operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Proficiency in prioritizing and coordinating tasks and projects.
  • Skillfully addressing and resolving conflicts and disagreements in a fair manner.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Skills in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge in documentation and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Problem solving: Analyzing situations, identifying challenges, and finding creative and effective solutions.
