A leading company in the region seeks a Cost and Procurement Manager responsible for managing the procurement process and controlling costs. This role involves collaboration with departments to ensure effective cost management, vendor relationships, and compliance with budgetary constraints. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in procurement and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
The Cost and Procurement Manager will beresponsible for managing the procurement process and controlling costsassociated with goods, services, and operations across the resort and zoo. Therole will require collaboration with various departments to ensure effectivecost management, budget compliance, and vendor relationships while drivingefficiency in procurement activities.
Duties & Responsibilities: |
·Oversee the end-to-end procurement process forall operational needs.
·Manage vendor relationships, negotiatecontracts, and ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods andservices.
·Conduct market research to identify the bestsuppliers and cost-effective solutions.
·Ensure compliance with company policies, legalrequirements, and sustainability standards in procurement practices.
·Prepare and manage the procurement budget andensure expenditure aligns with the budgetary constraints.
·Monitor, track, and analyze departmental coststo ensure financial objectives are met.
·Develop and implement cost-saving strategieswithout compromising on quality or service.
·Provide regular reports on cost performance andrecommend actions to stay within budget.
·Prepare detailed cost analysis reports forvarious departments, highlighting opportunities for cost reduction.
·Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts,ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
·Coordinate with finance teams to resolve anycontract-related issues.
·Monitor contract performance to ensure suppliersmeet agreed-upon terms and timelines.
·Work closely with the operations, hospitality,maintenance, to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support.
·Assist in the development of cost-efficient andinnovative solutions for operational requirements.
·Train and support team members on cost controlprocesses and procurement best practices.
·Ensure that all procurement activities complywith internal policies, industry standards, and local regulations.
·Prepare and present procurement performancereports to senior management.
·Track and maintain records of procurementactivities, contracts, and supplier performance.
·Bachelor’s degree in business administration,Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
·At least 5 years of experience in procurement,cost management.
·Strong financial acumen with the ability toanalyze and control costs effectively.
·Knowledge of procurement software and financialmanagement systems.
·Strong communication, negotiation, andinterpersonal skills.
