You will work with project managers and finance teams to ensure costs stay within approved budgets while maintaining financial health across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or commerce.
• Fresh Graduate or junior experience in cost control or financial management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
• Thorough understanding of accounting, budgeting, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to stakeholders.
• MS Office Suite proficiency, especially Excel for financial modelling and analysis.
• Experience with financial forecasting, variance analysis, and project cash flow management.
• Knowledge of IFRS15 and reporting standards (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Review and control project budgets with project managers and line manager.
• Participate in regular variance analysis to compare actual vs planned costs.
• Support review and analysis of earned value metrics for forecasting and reporting.
• Contribute to project cash flow management and payments to vendors/subcontractors.
• Assist in analyzing financial statements to identify improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
• Collaborate to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimization measures.
• Perform cost-benefit analyses for prospective projects and provide metrics for decision-makers.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for management.
