Job Description
- Carry out cost control transactions.
- Follow the instructions given by the Finance Controller.
- Control storage house requests, kitchen, F&B requests, and stocks.
- Ensure facility regulations are followed for purchasing, acceptance of goods, and storage.
- Share information with management about planning and controls related to the F&B department and kitchen.
- Control end-of-month inventories and enter data into the system.
- Inspect main storage houses.
- Prepare accounting information related to F&B and recognize them.
- Present financial and statistical data to seniors at intervals.
- Control all requests and adjust quantities to keep stocks minimal.
- Control request prices, accept goods according to instructions, and verify their quantity, quality, and prices. Ensure goods are delivered properly with signed documents.
- Review and control all invoices, verifying quantities and prices against orders.
- Prepare inventory lists for all stock and monthly storage house lists.
- Control end-of-month counts in storage houses and F&B.
- Coordinate and oversee all inventory work, make corrections, and prepare consumption reports for approval and recognition.
- Identify and update purchasing conditions, seek lower market prices.
- Prepare financial and statistical reports as per schedule.
- Provide training on cost control.
- Manage end-of-month and end-of-year transactions on the MC programme, including updates and system uploads in coordination with IT and vendors.
- Perform duties diligently and contribute positively to the F&B Department's profitability.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems.
- Perform other duties assigned by managers and hotel management.
Qualifications
- Education: At least a vocational high school diploma; an undergraduate degree is an asset.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years after an associate degree; no experience required for undergraduate degrees.
- Foreign Language: Intermediate English proficiency.
- Computer Literacy: MS Office, MC knowledge.
- Special Qualifications: Knowledge of relevant legislation, practices, systems; ability to perform related actions; perform sequential activities linked to targets.
