Job summary

Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi is seeking a Cost Controller to monitor, analyze, and control operational costs, ensuring efficient resource use and achievement of financial objectives.

The role oversees cost reporting, budgeting support, inventory management, and asset-related controls, with a strong emphasis on asset safeguarding and lifecycle management in line with Hyatt policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Cost Control, Asset Management, Inventory Control.
• Experience and strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Proven experience in maintaining and administering fixed asset registers, including asset acquisition, tracking, depreciation, transfer, and disposal processes.
• Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management, inventory control, and internal control procedures.
• Experience in conducting physical asset verification, asset audits, monitor asset tracking systems to ensure accountability and safeguard company assets, and reconciliation of asset records with financial statements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, analysis, and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple asset-related projects simultaneously.
• Experience in large-scale hospitality operations is preferred.
