Job summary

AQAR Landscape LLC in Dubai is seeking a Cost Control Engineer to join its project management team. You will govern project financial lifecycles, develop detailed budgets, track expenditures against baselines, and perform quantity take-offs for landscaping and civil works.

The role requires 5–8 years of UAE experience in cost engineering, with BOQ review, variation analysis, cash flow forecasting, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 5–8 years of dedicated experience in cost engineering within the UAE landscaping sector.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, advanced MS Excel, and cost estimation/management software.
• BOQ preparation, variation analysis, cost estimation, cash flow forecasting, numerical accuracy, and deadline management.

Responsibilities

• Establish project budgets, cash flow projections, cost plans, and recurring financial performance reports.
• Perform comprehensive quantity take-offs, review BOQs, and process monthly valuation certificates.
• Analyze project variation requests, contractual claims, and scope modifications to measure cost impacts.
• Collaborate with procurement, site execution, and finance units to track actual costs against target allocations.
• Recommend cost-saving strategies and maintain structured documentation for cost control audits.
