About the Company: We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Control Engineer to join our EPC project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost engineering, budget control, and project financial monitoring in large-scale industrial and EPC projects. You will be responsible for managing project budgets, forecasting expenditures, controlling costs, and ensuring financial integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
About the Role: Develop and maintain cost control systems, procedures, and reports in compliance with company standards. Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and cash flow forecasts. Monitor and track all project expenditures, including purchase orders, contracts, and change orders. Perform cost variance analysis and report deviations from budget to project management. Work closely with planning engineers, procurement, and project managers to ensure alignment of cost with schedule. Update and review cost control reports and participate in progress review meetings. Assist in the development of cost databases and ensure accuracy of financial data. Ensure compliance with EPC contractual obligations related to cost and budgeting. Support risk management by identifying and assessing cost-related project risks.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or equivalent). Minimum 10+ years of experience in project control roles within EPC projects (Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals, etc.). Proficiency in Primavera P6, ERP (SAP/Oracle), and project reporting tools.
Required Skills: Candidate should have good knowledge of: Project Scheduling & Planning, Cost Control & Estimation, Progress Measurement & Reporting, Change Management, Risk & Opportunity Management, Contractual & Commercial Awareness.
Preferred Skills: Software Proficiency - Primavera P6 for planning and scheduling, SAP for cost and procurement tracking.
