Job description

Digital Talent MENA is hiring for a civil company in Dubai a Cost Control and Planning Engineer. He/she will be responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are delivered timely and within budget. The role involves detailed cost estimation, budget tracking, risk analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Prepare SSE Projects detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
2. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and aligned with project objectives.
3. Monitor and control SSE project costs, identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns.
4. Provide recurring cost and schedule reports to stakeholders, highlighting key trends, issues, and recommendations.
5. Create and manage project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and critical path activities.
6. Work closely with Principal Engineers, Operation Directors, and other stakeholders to ensure cost and schedule objectives are met.
7. Recommend process improvements for cost efficiency and scheduling.
8. Minimum 7 years of experience in cost control and planning engineering, preferably in a reputable engineering consultancy firm.
9. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in cost estimation and scheduling software.
10. Possession of professional certifications, such as Certified Cost Engineer (CCE) or Project Management Professional (PMP), is preferred.
